Had 1 day in Roxas, spending my time here lovely. The staff and the owner were all easy going and helpful. A private safe, a dining area, and a seating area inside the bungalow were handy. The food was OUTSTANDING, I tried coffee and pancakes. Its location was stunning and marvellous, very close to the common touristic places, beautiful lonely beaches and the river.

The Mecaja Beach House exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness - especially considering its location deep in the jungle. We gained amazing local insights and enjoyed the secluded and quiet atmosphere. The resort offers various activities - such as island hopping and firefly watching - so there's no chance of getting bored. The owner couple and staff were incredibly friendly - helpful, and treated us like family.
Couldn't recommend more.

We stayed at Mecaja Beach House for a week and it was truly a magical experience. The beach was absolutely stunning, with coconut trees and beautiful sand. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like part of their family. The food was delicious and there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. Our room was right in front of the water line, allowing us to wake up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. One of the highlights was taking a tour of the mangroves, where we were lucky enough to spot two Asian otters, a vulnerable species that only exists in Palawan. this place provided a restful and private getaway away from the tourist crowds, and for the price, it's unbeatable.
We do recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and provided a great view of the beach. the food at the hotel was delicious and we enjoyed trying local dishes.
We encountered some issues during our stay. The beach had a lot of sand flies, which resulted in many insect bites.

The room at Mecaja Beach House was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful garden view from the patio. The separate bedroom provided privacy and the living room gave me a space to relax and unwind. The sea view added a touch of tranquility to my stay. The private bathroom was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary toiletries. as a solo traveler, I found the room perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Personally, I found the tile/marble floor a bit cold and slippery at times. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate its sleek design and easy maintenance.

Beachfront Bliss: I woke up to the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore, stepping onto my private terrace with a breathtaking sea view. It felt like having my own little piece of paradise, sipping my morning coffee while taking in the panoramic ocean vista.
Equipment hiccup during dives.
